SALSA dancing is swinging its way to Essex , and residents have the chance with a complimentary salsa lesson when Salsa Luxx is launched at the Three Rivers Golf and Country Club, in Stow Road , Cold Norton.

Salsa Luxx is a dance class taught by Salsa Chillout - a recognised salsa dance school in Essex - founded by Yolande Chandler and Terry Lewis, who share more than 19 years' salsa dance experience.

Salsa classes will be held every Friday at the club after the launch on Friday May 23.

Entry to the launch is also free of charge, and after the first salsa lesson, at 8.30pm , anyone who

has caught the salsa bug will be able to dance away until 1am in the freestyle session.

The event will also be celebrating the official launch of the salsa company's new website, www.salsachillout.com, which contains up to date information about the company and where to salsa in Essex.

Browsers can also learn the basic salsa steps with a free on line lesson.

Mr Lewis said: "We began with a small group of students but over time, and mainly through word of mouth, grew into the largest salsa dance company in Essex.

"We have created a relaxed and fun atmosphere at Salsa Chillout which keeps dancers returning to learn the latest cool dance moves week after week."
