boring workouts for getting into shape for summer fun. Salsa
dancers Yolande Chandler and Chika were on hand at an Asda
superstore to show customers how salsa dancing can do the
job just as well.
Yolande,
from Salsa Chillout, is a mother of four whose most recent
addition put in an appearance on New Year's day.
She
said "I haven't had to go to a gym since the birth. Salsa
is for everyone. You don't have to have a certain criteria
to do it. It' fun for people who have never done it
before, salsa appeals to people from all backgrounds, ages
shapes and sizes.

Salsa
is also a very sociable dance. It's lovely because lots of
people say it's like a workout without the effort."
Salsa
Chillout currently teach in six regular venues across Essex,
including the Bell pub in Prince Avenue, Southend.
Lindsey
Drake, spokeswoman for the North Shoebury Road Asda store,
said, "Customers were dancing in the aisles with the Spanish
influences of salsa. The foyer was filled with onlookers.
The event was organised to promote new flavoured crisps. The
salsa dancers and music really brightened the customers up."
